I’ve re-discovered the bar counter. A long time ago I spent considerable amounts of time at them. But lately, me and my behavior have been ushered to the dining areas, the tables, the knife and fork area. But this week in NY, I re-discovered the bar. Hallelujah.

I don’t know what this building did in it’s previous life, but it must have been something good. It stood right next to the twin towers. Today, it’s kind of lonely and confused.

Mid day. Stumbled upon a bar on Ludlow. Music, beer. Nothing unusual. Yet kind of magic. Could have been the beer. Or the music. Or the insanely happy bar man. ‘Les Enfants Terribles’ on the corner of Ludlow/Canal, lower east side.
