#40 Summer wedding
Dont’ know about you, but I sure miss summer. Not necessarily summer summer, but the warmth. Or rather, the occasional absence of the apathy-bringing freeze we’re forced to endure for too many months. Warmth is a rarity. An exclusive item kept in the safe of our minds. #38 The Years
November 23, 2008, 11:55 pm. Woke up this morning, a year older. Even though I was only seven hours older, than the night before. But it was alright. Pleasant, even. Breakfast in bed, some singing, coffee, presents. And The Years had a private little gig in my mind. With the intensity of a Ramones concert, [...]

#37 Eat your peas
I would take straight hair over any hair. Even green straight hair beats curls. Oh. Not curls, we’re talking frizzy hair. Uncontrollable chunks of steel wool. That’s what I grew up with. That’s what was in my cards. Every morning through junior high, I spent my family breakfasts with the tightest hat I could find [...]

#36 Bright lights, big city

#35 In-flight shopping
Stockholm, November 15 2008. My head is spinning. Looking back, I see a year filled with work, meetings, powerpoints, rewards, awards, more work, bad work, good work, ping pong, more meetings, looong meetings, coffee, credit crunch, groceries, coffee, meetings, awkward meetings, the flu, twice, laughter, trains, taxis, planes, cars, cars, planes, taxis, trains, work, more [...]

Clear, bold letters. I love it. Beats staring at rain-drenched people.

#31 Göteborg Central
Just arrived at the platform from Stockholm, and I met this guy. Unclear whether he was an arrival or departure. It was sadly obvious, though, that his train had left.
#30 Like a horse but smaller, and nicer
I’m not sure where donkeys fit in on the bad-ass hierarchy of domesticated animals. But I’m pretty convinced they’re nicer, and cooler, than horses. Didn’t even try to kick me once.

#29 HA
That’s the nearest I got, without tipping the bike over. Which would have been a bad thing.

#28 8 pm in the DMZ
The thing about riding a chopper to get to the best peaks, is guilt. I get a bit annoyed by my own laziness, as a big part of the whole ski touring thing is the ascent. For me, at least. But when you’re up at night, late May, and the sun is up with you, [...]
